ENDODONTIC THERAPY

The most common endodontic treatment is a root canal treatment which involves the removal of the soft center of the tooth called the pulp. This procedure is needed to save the tooth when inflammation or infection is present.

During root canal treatment, the internal space in the tooth (the root canal system) is disinfected and filled with a bio-compatible material. Our doctors will place a small temporary filling in chewing surface. When the root canal treatment is complete, you must return to your dentist for the permanent restoration of your tooth.

Other endodontic services which may be recommended to you by your dentist or endodontist include surgical procedures involving the root end or surrounding bone, root removal, treatment for traumatic injuries, and bleaching discolored teeth.

We are committed to providing the highest possible standard of care in a pleasing atmosphere with the most advanced techniques and equipment. We welcome your questions or comments at any time.

We almost always complete the treatment in one appointment.

INSURANCE

To keep our fees low and maximize your annual dental benefit, we do not participate in any discounted insurance plans and treat all patients equally . If your insurance benefit involves a limited provider list, you will be expected to pay for services rendered at the time of service and we will process your insurance claim for you. The payment in this case will be sent from your insurer to you directly.

Payment for services is the responsibility of each patient. If you have an employer dental benefit, we request that you pay at least 30% of the fee at the time of treatment. Even though your benefits may cover a large portion of the costs, you will be responsible for any part not covered by your insurance benefit.

FEES

The fee for root canal treatment is based on the type of tooth, number of canals, and difficulty of the case. The range of fees for various procedures is available from our office upon request prior to your appointment. However, this is an estimate only as we cannot precisely determine what your needs are without an examination by our doctors.
