Dr. Derek Nordeen is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree in 1998. The following year, he completed a General Practice Residency in Burlington, Vermont. He then completed two years of specialty training in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Nordeen has practiced endodontics in the LaCrosse area full-time since 2001 at Endodontic Specialists of LaCrosse. Dr. Nordeen has brought to his practice the latest techniques of root canal therapy and the most advanced knowledge in the field of endodontics. Dr. Nordeen is a previous recipient of the Dows Institute Research Award as well as the Deans Leadership Award at the University of Iowa. He is active in both local and national dental organizations. His work has been published and he has presented his work nationally to other endodontic and dental specialists. He is actively pursuing his Board Certification from the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Derek Nordeen is a La Crosse native having graduated from La Crosse Logan High School in 1990 where he was a competitive swimmer and member of the National Honor Society. In his free time, Dr. Nordeen enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and mountain biking. He and his wife currently reside in La Crosse.
